As a portrait photographer, I regularly use lighting techniques to make people look younger than they really are.

For example, notice the burn lighting that bleaches out one side of the model's face in the large four-photo block above. This 'burning' plus general over-lighting clearly makes him look much younger than his actual age (21 years old) especially in the top left photo.

STATEMENT OF POLICY
